Be a Mentor
When you mentor a child in any of the various Big Brothers Big Sisters programs, you only need to be their friend. That’s the magic power that changes lives, both theirs and yours. You don’t have to be a parent. You don’t have to fix them or contribute any special skills. You don’t have to spend huge amounts of time with them. You don’t even have to figure out any fun activities. When you show up, you show you care. The kids will help you remember everything else you need to know.
Being a Mentor is Fun!
THE REQUIREMENTS – You can volunteer one time in a skill-based program, spend an hour-a-week in our In-School Mentoring program or spend as much time as you want as a traditional Big Brother or Sister.
