Once your team is registered with Big Brothers Big Sisters, encourage your team to use the online donation system, to collect their pledges. Online fundraising works!

Registering online to raise money does NOT register you to bowl. You MUST register with the BBBS office to bowl.

How to use online pledging with friends & family:

Sign into your account
Send emails to family, friends and colleagues anywhere in the world asking for their support;
Phone family, friends and colleagues anywhere in the world asking for their support;
Send 2^nd email to family, friends and colleagues anywhere in the world asking for their support; (if Necessary)
Send 3rd email to family, friends and colleagues anywhere in the world asking for their support; (if Necessary)
Check your fundraising results.

Team Captains MUST register their team online before Team Members can use this tool.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR ONLINE DONATIONS

NEW TEAM CAPTAINS

Go to the Bowl For Kids Sake Online Donations Site
Select “Register to Bowl” from the menu on the left.
Select the “Start a Team” option.
Name your team and enter team goal. Click Continue.
Fill out registration form, (TIP: use your email address as your username because it is unique and easy to remember). Check that your information is correct, and make your first donation! Click Continue.
If you have pledged yourself, you will be taken to the online billing form to enter in your information. Click Continue. You will be taken to the honour roll page, alter as you like, click continue. Then you will be at a confirmation page, review, click continue.
Now you will be at your personal site! You can customize your website with your picture, as well as a personal story of why you are participating in BFKS. Then use the email tools to solicit donations from co-workers, friends and family anywhere in the world.
Email your team members and let them know how to register on Kintera.

RETURNING TEAM CAPTAINS (have used online pledge collecting)

Go to the Bowl For Kids Sake Online Donations Site
Select “Register to Bowl”from the menu on the left.
Choose “Start a Team” and enter your team name and fundraising goal. Click Continue.
Under the Scotiabank logo it asks of you have participated in Friends Asking Friends event in the past (this means last years bowl for kids sake event), click the ‘click here’ option to auto fill your form. You will be asked for your user name and pass code from last year’s event. Check that your information is correct, and make your first donation! Click Continue.

TEAM MEMBERS

Select your team name from the dropdown list and click ‘Continue’.
