For Parents & Kids
All our volunteers go through an extensive background check and selection process. Our trained staff keeps in close contact with you and your child’s mentor to optimize their experience. And with the addition of our skill-based programs, you now have more options for your children to explore their creative potential. We can’t guarantee to match every child, one-on-one, with a mentor. There simply aren’t enough adults who volunteer. But we can guarantee that we’ll do everything possible to make sure that your child has access to all of the opportunities we have available.
THE PROCESS - All parents, like our volunteers, must attend an orientation session to define their goals and understand what Big Brothers Big Sisters can and can’t do. See the orientation process.
