Bigs 4 Literacy
If you love reading, you should volunteer as a part of Bigs4Literacy. Like our in-school mentoring program you spend one-on-one time with a child at their school only during the school day. Explore a range of literacy activities. Help a child discover the joy of being able to read. You could be a part of their future success.
Usual Time Commitment: 1 hour a week
Length of Commitment: 1 school year at a time
If you’d like to spend more time outside of work with a child, try one of our community-based programs. If you don’t feel that you could take 1 hour a week away from work, check out Go Girls & Go Guys or on of our skill-based programs, like ARTS Mentoring. They range from 1 hour/week for 7 weeks to 1 hour, 1 time.
