In-School Mentoring
Make mentoring a part of your work week. You spend one-on-one time with a child at their school only during the school day. You can talk, play games or sports, read or make art or crafts. The most important thing you can do is be there.
Usual Time Commitment: 1 hour a week
Length of Commitment: 1 school year at a time
If you’d like to spend more time outside of work with a child, try one of our Community-Based Mentoring Programs. If you don’t feel that you could take 1 hour a week away from work, check out Go Girls & Go Guys or our skill-based programs, like ARTS Mentoring. They range from 1 hour/week for 7 weeks to 1 hour, 1 time.
